Celebrating the Women of our Space Pioneers - special guest JoAnn Morgan (the first female aerospace engineer at NASA). Also featuring Al Hollanquist (expert on the female astronaut trainees from the 1960's that trained for the Mercury spaceflights), Jean Wright (retired NASA engineer & Sew Sister), Rebecca Siegal (Youth Non-Fiction Author of the new book, "To Fly Among the Stars" will present AND autograph books), Suzy Cunningham (NASA's Manager of Community & Public Engagement) & Emily Carney (Space blogger and founder of the popular "Space Hipsters" group). There will also be Urban Stargazing, the "Space Hipsters Spring Equinox meet-up," a panel about launch photography techniques, and Ike Rigel will be autographing his autobiography. The museum will be open from 10-5, then there will be a break while we re-set for astronomy in our parking lot and we will re-start at twilight and continue until 9 pm.
