Celebrate the holidays with DANCING, JAZZ and HOLIDAY MUSIC by multi-talented pianist, composer, producer, arranger, conductor and vocalist JD Daniel, featuring Charlie DeChant, founding member of the band, Hall & Oates, on the saxophone. Artist-in-residence of Jazz Studies at Rollins College, Chuck Archard will be on bass. Plus professional drummer and music teacher Richie Mola.
JD Daniel has recorderd and performed around the world with dozens of internationally acclaimed artists. Legendary jazz vocalist Diane Schurr says “JD is a brilliant musician both as a classical player as well as new age innovations. I really enjoyed working with him, and I have very fond memories of our work together in different studios.”
JD was born in Seattle and began classical training at age six. He formed his own group when he was 19 in Tucson AZ, which featured future Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Diane Schuur, among other talented musicians. JD spent many years in Los Angeles, working as an in-demand recording session musician and has toured the globe with scores of well-known artists. He's performed, arranged and composed for virtually all types of media; film, television, video, documentaries, web content, live shows & video games.
Today, JD arranges & records custom keyboard parts online for clients around the world. He has been privileged to record and perform with a host of high-profile Jazz artists, including: Dave Koz, Rick Braun, Richard Elliott, Alphonse Mouzon, Ronnie Laws, Diane Schuur, Brian Bromberg, Carl Anderson, Russ Freeman, Vinnie Coliuta, John Pattatucci, Eric Marienthal, Ernie Watts, Alphonso Johnson, Phil Upchurch, Wayne Henderson, Brandon Fields, Gerald Albright, Grant Geissman, Bunny Brunel and Jeff Berlin.
