About Us

The American Space Museum is a not for profit organization that not only preserves countless one-of-a-kind artifacts from of the birth and breadth of the Space Age in Brevard County, it also strives to offer inspiration for what the future of space exploration may hold. In addition to our fantastic museum and nearby Space View Park, we go outside our walls to offer ''Urban Astronomy'' programs taking telescopes to schools, hotels, and parks, our STEAM educators work inside and outside the museum with STEAM workshops, demonstrations and programs and we provide on site support at our park on most launch days. Our educators and tour guides are passionate about what they do and so have much to share with the world - many of them worked in the space program themselves - no two encounters here are the same. We look forward to meeting you soon!
