About Us

Health First Health Plans (HFHP) is part of an integrated healthcare system, delivering high-quality service and care, improving lives and communities. We offer a wide variety of group health plans, also known as ''commercial'' plans for businesses based in our service area--Brevard County and parts of Sebastian in Indian River County, Florida. Our portfolio of health insurance plans includes:

:: HMO Plans - feature low copayments for services provided in our extensive network.
:: POS Plans - feature low copayments at network providers, plus the option of receiving care out of the network.
:: High-Deductible Health Plans - include both HMO and POS plans. They are designed to work with Health Savings Accounts (HSA). When an HDHP is combined with an HSA, these plans also offer tax savings.
:: TPA (Third-Party Administered)/ASO (Administrative Services Only) - for companies who prefer to self-insure.

Our comprehensive, quality provider network includes more than 750 physicians, 5 hospitals, and ancillary services. Ninety-eight percent of providers are either board certified or board eligible. All members enjoy ''Open Access'' to network specialists, worldwide coverage for urgent and emergency care, Pro-Health & Fitness Center memberships, medical management and health and wellness behavior changing coach services.
