About Us

I Love My Island, Inc., a non-profit organization, operates the My Island Thrift Store to help fund activities in the community. Our mission is to provide and promote resources for seniors, to sponsor and support a variety of youth activities ranging from academics to athletics, to offer relief to individuals and families in times of criss and to collaborate with others to contribute to the welfare of the Merritt Island area.

Our store is donation based and accepts donations 7 days a week. We can arrange for pick-up of large donations; please call us to schedule (321.473.3355). Proceeds are used to support programs in the community. 2019 programs include a mentoring group for 5th graders, collaboration with the Sharing Center and the Hunger Project to feed children who live and go to school on the Island and a ''Coffee For Seniors'' where seniors who live in group settings visit out store, have lunch or refreshments and get gift certificate to shop for needed items such as clothing and personal care items.

We accept monetary donations on-line or by mail. In 2019 we earned the Gold Star Transparency Seal from GuideStar. I Love My Island, inc. is a non-profit (501(c)3)
